2nd Successful Uterus Transplant at Galaxy Care Hospital

After the success for

India’s first womb transplant

, Galaxy Care team has succeeded in another womb transplant performed on 19th May. The 2nd uterus transplant was performed in 8 hours whereas the 1st took 9 hours.

23-year-old woman from Vadodra was suffering from Asherman’s Syndrome. Her mother decided to donate her womb to her 23-year-old daughter. Both, the daughter and the mother, are in normal condition. However, they will be kept under observation for next 48 hours.
